Overview
Join guide David Robinson, Director of the MA Board of Underwater Archaeological Resources, for a 75-minute exploration of the Providence waterways & Green Jacket Shoal at Bold Point, deemed “Rhode Island’s largest ship graveyard!" Bold Point, located in East Providence, RI, had once hosted the Providence Dry Dock & Marine Railway Company, a shipyard that repaired and maintained vessels in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Its floating dry dock was the first on Narragansett Bay and was used, along with two marine railways, to haul ships out of the water for repairs and service. The vessels off Bold Point were abandoned there “at the end of their working lives.’’ Many were likely transported to the company’s yard from within Providence Harbor, stripped of their valuable machinery and hardware—engines, boilers, paddle wheels, whistles, clocks, navigational instruments, rigging gear, bells, chairs and even chandeliers—and then moved a short distance to Green Jacket Shoal to rest in peace.

Day 1
Airport pickup and hotel check-in

Day 2
Dubai City Tour and evening Dhow cruise with dinner

Depart from the hotel after breakfast at 9:30am for the Dubai City Tour. See old and new Dubai, from the man-made Palm Jumeirah to the iconic Burj Al Arab and the historic Al Fahidi Fort. Head to the Gold and Spice Souks for the aromas and colors of traditional Arabia. In the evening, board a traditional dhow for a two-hour dinner cruise along Dubai Marina with live entertainment and stunning skyline views.

Day 3
Dubai Frame tour and afternoon desert safari with BBQ dinner

Visit the Dubai Frame at 10am for a glimpse of the city's old and new sides from the 150m-high bridge. In the afternoon, head out to the desert for dune bashing, camel rides, and a Bedouin-style camp experience with a BBQ dinner, henna painting, and a live Tanoura dance show.

Day 4
Burj Khalifa tour with Musical fountain show and Dubai Mall shopping tour
The Dubai Mall
At leisure until 4pm, then transfer to The Dubai Mall — home to the world's tallest dancing fountains, an indoor aquarium, and the largest Gold Souk in the world. Ride to the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa for panoramic views of the city, then enjoy the evening Musical Fountain show before returning to the hotel.

Check out and drop to airport

Check out and your chauffeur will drop you at the airport. Standard check-out time is 12pm; late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability.
